Aphrodite of Milos or Venus de Milo Statue, the Greek goddess of love and beauty, as a digital bitmap and screen-pressed design. The copy used is part of my developing artist statement. This piece represents my goal to produce beautiful art that consistently serves a purpose.

My Creative Process

This poster began when I studied the use of bitmap, spot coloring, duotone, and vector. I chose statues with intricate drapery and detail and learned how to perfect these photo editing and design methods. For my Venus de Milo Statue print I chose bitmap and had fun choosing colors and different bitmap sizes. I also played with resolution and how bitmap can be useful for making an image seem higher quality and detailed but is a smaller convenient file size and easier for printing.
