Cannabis cookbook with a mature and dark twist. Inspired by old English text and Renaissance still-life paintings. Each recipe is one of the seven sins and has additional cooking information for the cannabis ingredient infusions needed.

My Creative Process

While designing this cookbook I began trying to avoid the usual commercial design cannabis has like bright colors and psychedelic art. My target audience became young adults and adults who enjoy books, cooking, and may also be interested in cooking cannabis. I included research on cannabis and cannabis-infused ingredients so that even an absolute beginner can easily use and understand my cookbook. I began mood boarding a theme I’ve created by combining the devil figure, Old English and medieval texts, and line art. For uniformity and overall theme, shading was added to all illustrations.
